Our curriculum team has been researching best practices for academic and artistic training at Academy of the Arts for several years. Several veteran educators and school administrators have worked together to develop academic curriculum models that align with Illinois Common Core State Standards with a focus on student-driven learning and the application of knowledge to real world situations to develop a deep conceptual understanding. Our team also has arts integration specialists that understand the unique learning styles of young artists. Students will be assessed throughout their academic journey to ensure that they are on track for college and career readiness.
